All orders are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority, depending on your choice at checkout and the weight of your order (all orders over 1lb are shipped Priority). Within the US, this includes tracking through USPS; for international orders, tracking may be available in some countries, but generally drops off after your order leaves the States.
Ready-to-ship items will ship within 2-5 days after payment is received.
Shipping does not include insurance. Classy Squid Fiber Co. is not responsible or liable for damage or loss through the Postal Service. In the past 800+ orders we have fulfilled, USPS has only misplaced one, and it although a replacement was made, the original package did indeed arrive eventually.
Returns & Exchanges
As we are currently liquidating inventory at significantly reduced prices, we are not accepting returns or exchanges at this time.
Caring for your Fibers
With the exception of the occasional custom order, Classy Squid Fiber Co. does not carry superwash wool, and all fibers will felt with agitation, temperature shocks, and soapy scrubbing. The best way to care for your creations is to soak your yarns and knitted good in cool/warm (not hot) water with a gentle wool wash, such as Eucalan (which does not require rinsing and is safe for the most delicate fibers). Occasionally, you may see some slight coloring to the bath water from very vibrant colors - this is harmless, and should not effect the color of your final product. We rinse our fibers until our own water runs clear, but everyone's water is different and alternate chemicals or pH differences can dislodge some un-bonded dye.
All products are photographed in natural light and gently edited to ensure proper contrast, exposure, and trueness of color on the screens available to us. We do our best to ensure that colors are represented clearly and accurately. However, all monitors and configurations are different, so there is no way to ensure that you will see exactly what we see.
