Spring Mood
One fine spring morning, she awoke and cast about her studio for fiber to card, something to express the cheerful birdsong and sun streaming in through open windows. Pile after pile was rejected, corners were scavenged, until finally a mountain of wool and silk and sparkle had collected that perfectly fit the mood. In a frenzy the fiber artist divided the ingredients into 4 piles, each slightly different but altogether harmonious, and set to work. As time passed the room filled with glorious, eccentric batts, all inspired by the spring oozing in through the windows, warming the studio and bouncing shadows of hidden colors.
